In our efforts to bring the finest European tailoring to South Asia we are pleased to announce our collaboration with one of the best European fabric mills, Dormeuil.
A mill steeped in history dating back to 1842 when the founder Dormeuil Frères started weaving cloth in England specifically for French tailors.

For 170 years, The House of Dormeuil has developed timeless and iconic fabrics that have cemented the mills reputation across all five continents.
Keeping innovation at the forefront of their fabric weaving Dormeuil is second to none for lighter weight summer suiting fabrics.

Below are some of our top picks, from this luxury mill. All are now available for bespoke orders with Vanguard Bepsoke.

Tropical amadeus

A beautifully light-weight & extra-fine cloth with a crisp drape the Tropical Amadeus range tailors into a modern, comfortable & sharp summer suit for tropical climates.
With over 60 colours & designs to choose from ranging from the classics to modern. This range lends itself more towards suits rather than separates. At just 7.5Oz/220gms it will keep you cool in tropical summers.

Dorsilk

This range is pure luxury. Combining the sturdiness of wool with the lustre of silk in a range of 60 modern colours and patterns. this range also features a few designs in woool/silk/linen blend.

This silk in this fabric gives it a naturally soft handle making it lovely to wear with a very subtle shimmer. An 8Oz/230grms cloth it is perfect for a summer jacket or occasion wear.

Calypso

This 8Oz/230grms fabric combines a mix of wool (80%) & linen (20%) in a rich colour range.

This fabric bunch has a dry handle which in conjunction with the lightness & elegance of the cloth makes it an ideal choice for summer jackets in the tropics.

Exel

At 9.5Oz/270gms the Exel range is a little heavier than the other bunches featured here. But it is worth mentioning in the summer range as it is the perfect weight for an all season suit. More of a European summer weight it is still light enough to see you through the summer.
This range features natural stretch making it super comfortable to wear and comes in a vast collection of colours & patterns.
